Celebrating Mother’s Day - When You Feel Motherless (12 Scriptures to Eliminate Grief)

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and each year this is a hard pill to swallow personally because I too loss my mother. The fact that death is apart of life, doesn’t make grieving over the loss of your loved one any easier. Truth

be told when it’s your mother, that can be even more difficult. Well at least it was for me. Loosing your mother can take a toll on you leaving you in a state of feeling like you have a never ending tare in your heart. Even worse, having feelings of the air being sucked out of the room and you struggling to breathe, or standing in your home house and the walls within feels so lifeless to a point of feeling homeless. Mama’s smell, laugh, and love that once made your house a home is gone. If it could be any worse, you don’t recognize yourself and no one else, you are well on your way to shutting down life and any existence of you in it. If you still have your mother, and have never experienced any of what was described above tell God thank ya because you are indeed blessed. And outside of reading this

blog you will make a commitment to do everything in your power to show your mother how loved and appreciated she is going forward. Now, for those of us who have loss our mothers and can relate to some of the feelings described I pray this blog will be of some help to you. Now moving on. Yes, quick tips are good and can help, but they won’t last without getting back to the basics of feeling better. One would ask how do I do that, where can I find this miracle fix, and how much does it cost. Well, I’m glad you are reading this blog and I’m happy to tell you and what may feel like the most difficult thing you’ve ever done is actually very simple. Open your Bible, yes wipe the dust off it and actually open it, read the scriptures, and the good news is it won’t cost a thing because salvation is free. Everything you need to getting you back can be found in scripture. See scriptures speak to that unreachable, spirit filled place we all possess called your soul. Scripture is a powerful thing whether it’s read privately, spoken from the pulpit, or nestled within a card. The Bible’s scriptures is full of just the right words to comfort the grieving. If you’re like me, and your mother is no longer in this earthly rim you may feel a lack of belongingness ushered by over whelming sadness during Mother’s Day. Although I'm not where I was when she passed, I do still get choked up seeing all the cards, and flowers causing me to begin missing my mother even more. I try to keep busy, but like many I too do possess times of great sadness. Many during this time appear to go into some type of grief hibernation. When they should be doing the total opposite. God’s grace will give you strength to move past your pain. The word says he will be a father to the fatherless, and a mother to the motherless. Don’t believe me, read it for your self. This blog is intended to offer you comfort, hope, and encouragement that God’s words spoken through scripture will heel your broken heart over the loss of your dear loved one and set you on a path of knowing there are better days are ahead. Normally my blogs offer quick tips to get you back into the swing of things, but this time we’re going to take a different approach and go back to the basic, scripture that is. Read the below scriptures. Wishing you God’s blessings on your journey.

I've known you for years (and years) and you've always been a Beautiful person....but to see you on this trajectory is simply amazing. Your Blow up is a whole Glow up. You Truly are a Blessing indeed, with Godly influence. I pray that your wonderful words of wisdom touch the lives of others as much as they've touched and encouraged me. And may God continue to pour back into you as you continue to pour into others.
