3 Things Misunderstood About Rejection

Sometimes you can want something or someone so bad causing you to devote all your time and energy to obtaining it. No matter what, that which you desire seems to move further and further from your reach or worst you are able to get it and it’s full of problems. You become consumed with what feels like rejection. You may begin to feel depressed and move away from people, places, and things you once enjoyed. Don’t quit! There’s still hope! Stay focused and continue to have faith. The enemy came to kill, steal, and destroy every dream and admiration you ever had for yourself. Don’t give them the victory. Keep putting yourself out there, rejection is often misunderstood. In fact, rejection is God’s greatest protection. You are the child of a King. Stay focused, greatness is in your DNA. What better time to rise than when you are down. Champions never quit, and Kings nor Queens never entertain thoughts and/or deeds of peasants. If you protect your peace, success and happiness will follow.

Meantime here is three things miss understood about rejection.

1. It was your fault. It’s not your fault if someone doesn't recognize how great you are. Nor is greatness achieved overnight. It’s takes time and it’s okay if someone doesn’t possess the patience to see you through on your journey. Rejection is God’s protection and you’ve heard this many times that people enter your life for a particular reason and season. Just like that, God puts people in your path to give you what you need. He also removes them from your circle to aide your growth to something greater. Stop blocking your blessings and let that enabler to God’s true blessing go!

2. There is something wrong with me. This is a huge misconception about rejection. There’s nothing wrong with you! Let me say that again….there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. There may be conflict in your interaction with another being which may not necessarily mean something is physically or mentally wrong with you. Goodbye today leads to a hello tomorrow. Life and people are like puzzle pieces. God is not in confusion and his blessing are never forced. The right person, and/or position will feel just right. Everything will be aligned perfectly. You will not have to force it, you will not have to beg for it, nor lie, steal, or cheat to have it. There’s nothing wrong with you, turn the corner into tomorrows new opportunities, and new experiences awaits.

3. Self shaming! There’s no shame in failure. Truth be told we’ve all failed at something. So stop being so hard on yourself. Reverse the negative energy by taking the sting out of failure by having the courage to accept, this ain’t working. Did you know most if not all successful people at some point in their lives they had a lot of failures. The difference between you and them is having fear in admitting this ain’t working. There’s nothing to fear, and you are not the only one in this place and time.

2 Timothy 1:7 KJV For God have not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound mind. Philippians 4:6 KJV Be care for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Therefore, you don't have to fear anything, have caution yes, but fear nothing. You can take the sting out of failure by acknowledging and changing. Courage is your wheels to peace and your inner gut is your Global Positioning System (GPS), if it don’t look right, it don’t feel right, and it doesn't smell right don’t go on snooze, you only get one chance at life, hit the GPS and reroute. Wishing you God’s blessings on your journey.
